What kinds of porta potties can I rent?
Start with the standard porta potty rental. It fits most job sites and gatherings. That unit is about 44 by 48 inches on the ground and stands roughly 92 inches tall, with a 60 to 70 gallon holding tank. Some people call it a porta john or just a portable toilet; same thing.

Do I need an ADA unit or a handwashing station?
If the public uses your site, plan for access. ADA Standards section 213.2 says where single-user units are clustered, at least 5 percent, and never fewer than one, must be accessible. That accessible unit needs a 60 inch turning circle inside per ADA Standards section 304.3.1, and a firm, slip-resistant surface under ADA Standards section 302.1.
Handwashing is its own question. Under 29 CFR 1910.141(d)(2), washing facilities need soap and towels or a dryer, and hand sanitizer alone does not meet it.
